BUILDING COURAGEOUS LEADERS

Chartered in 2017, the Rho Tau Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta (nicknamed FIJI) is one of William & Mary's newest fraternities. We're committed to redefining Greek stereotypes through academic success, an inclusive brotherhood, and passionate community leadership.

Redefining Greek Stereotypes
Since 2017

Since 2024, all chapters of Phi Gamma Delta have replaced the traditional "pledge period" with Foundations of Courage.

Our new brothers are now initiated within a few days of accepting their bids. Through FOC, they learn more about the fraternity's history, values, and their brothers. FOC emphasizes equality and inclusivity among all brothers, including our newest.

Near the end of FOC, new brothers are paired with a mentor who acts as a lifelong "big brother".

Our chapter is committed to scholarship. We consistently rank among the highest fraternity GPAs at William & Mary, and have been #1 for the past two semesters.

At the same time, our chapter recognizes the importance of balance, and we offer a space for brothers to take a break from school and create lifelong friendships.

Since its founding, FIJI Rho Tau has been committed to giving back to its community. Our brothers are already doing great things in the world, from responding to 911 calls as EMTs to conducting groundbreaking chemistry and biology research.
